Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

Erebuni Technologies, based in Toronto, Canada, is responsible for personal information under its control. Questions, requests and complaints go to our privacy contact at araqs@erebunitech.com.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), budget range and the message you write.
• Chat assistant (Ani): the messages you type into the chat. The conversation is kept in your browser for the current tab only and is cleared when you close it.
• Emails you send us: your email address and whatever you include.
• Usage data: aggregated, anonymous page-view statistics (pages visited, referring site, country, device and browser type) collected without cookies.
• Technical data: like every website, our hosting provider records IP addresses, browser details and request times in short-lived server logs. We also use your IP address for up to 24 hours to limit abuse of the contact form and chat.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss a potential project.
• To answer your questions through the chat assistant.
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used and improve it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list. We will only send you marketing emails if you expressly agree, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers that process information on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only to provide their service:

• Vercel Inc. hosts the website and provides cookieless usage statistics.
• Anthropic, PBC provides the AI model behind the chat assistant. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic to generate replies; under its commercial terms they are not used to train its models.
• Resend delivers contact-form messages to our inbox.
• Our email and business tools, which we use to manage your enquiry.

These providers may store and process information in the United States or other countries, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting business relationship, then delete them. We do not store chat conversations on our servers; our AI provider keeps them only for a limited period under its own retention policy for safety and abuse monitoring.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage and the open chat conversation in session storage. You can clear both at any time in your browser settings.

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable service providers, and we limit access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as passwords, financial or health details through the form or chat.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it, by emailing araqs@erebunitech.com. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights, and we will honour them.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. See also our Terms of Use.
